Patricia Marie Zatorski dies at 74
Patricia Marie Zatorski, 74, died on February 28th at ARTIS Senior Living in Princeton Junction, surrounded by her loving family after valiantly battling Alzheimer’s for many years. Pat was the wife of Walter Zatorski, to whom she was married for 54 years.
Pat graduated from Bay Ridge High School, Brooklyn, and matriculated at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft. She was a secretary in the sports sales department at CBS in Manhattan and met many celebrities during her time there. Pat then went on to manage the Specialized Pediatric Ambulatory Center at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Before her retirement, she worked from home as an independent contractor handling medical billing for a pediatric specialist.
Pat loved spending time with her family and friends, entertaining, traveling, and listening to music. From holiday banquets to backyard pool parties on the Fourth of July with her signature baked beans and homemade potato salad, Pat was an impeccable host. Once retired, she was able to indulge in her love of travel. Some of her favorite destinations included Williamsburg, Virginia, Florida, and the Caribbean. Pat, Walter, and close friends traveled throughout Europe and sailed aboard many cruises throughout the Mediterranean Sea. Her favorite cruise was to Bermuda to celebrate her birthday every year. Pat loved musical theater whether on Broadway, the Paper Mill Playhouse, or the State Theatre.
Born May 11, 1949, in Brooklyn, Pat was the daughter of the late Marie and Murdock Pryor Gordon. In addition to her loving husband, Pat is survived by her daughters Danielle Estevez of Cream Ridge, and Jennifer Corcoran and her husband, Jerry, of Maplewood. She was the proud grandmother of Ayden, Carlos, Casey, and Fiona. Also surviving is her brother Richard Gordon of West Hollywood, California, her sisters-in-law Beatrice Zatorski of Edison, and Laurine Zatorski of Naples, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased in death by her brother Robert Gordon of San Diego, California.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, at St. David the King, 1 New Village Rd, Princeton Junction, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Timothy Capewell Pastor Emeritus. Internment at The Princeton Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, March 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton.
