Have you seen her? Missing Connecticut teen last seen in New Jersey
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is seeking the public’s help locating missing teen Jomana Ali.
On July 2, Jomana left her home in Fairfield, Connecticut around 5:45 p.m. The 16-year-old told her family she was going for a walk, but she never returned home.
Police said that in the hours following her disappearance, Jomana was seen on several different surveillance videos. The images show Jomana wearing black Converse sneakers with white bottoms, black leggings, and a blue t-shirt with white lettering.
The last known sighting of Jomana was in the area of Ace Auto Repair at 132 N. Black Horse Pike in Bellmawr, New Jersey just after midnight on July 3.
Police are urging anyone with additional information on her whereabouts to come forward.
Jomana is described as 5’4″, weighs 140 lbs., and has brown eyes with brown hair.
Bouchra Mrabet, Jomana’s mom, said it was out of character for Jomana to run away and that she had never gone missing previously. The family is concerned for her safety.
“Jomana, your family loves you so much and we need you to come home safely,” Mrabet said. “We miss you and are desperate to have you back.”
If you have any information about Jomana, please contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or the Fairfield Police Department (Connecticut) at 1-203-254-4800.
