A motorcyclist was evacuated from the scene of a three-vehicle crash in Princeton after having been ejected from his bike Tuesday afternoon.

Around 11:40 a.m., first responders shut down Great Road in the 1200 block between Ridgeview Road and Heather Lane for about 40 minutes while they cleared a multi-vehicle crash.

At the scene of the collision, the motorcycle had dropped in the roadway.

A white Honda was in the south lane on the Great Road; in the northbound lane, a commercial van and a white Nissan Altima were headed North in the opposite lane.

There were clear conditions on the roadway.

Princeton Police Lieutenant Matthew Solovay confirmed that the operator of the motorcycle was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center by Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim was overheard responding to paramedics’ inquiries that he couldn’t recall from where he had come or to where he had been traveling when he was struck.

Solovay said the incident was not criminal; it remains under investigation by Princeton Police Patrolman Adam Santos.

Also responding to the scene were the Princeton Fire Department Rescue 60 apparatus and the Princeton Fire Marshal.
