Princeton Police search for hit-and-run driver who injured pedestrian

The Princeton Police Department is requesting the public’s help identifying the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision that took place on Tuesday, March 25, at about 5:32 p.m. on South Harrison Street near the marked crosswalk at the D&R Canal Path.

A pedestrian was struck while crossing in the crosswalk and sustained serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, heading northbound on South Harrison Street.

Police believe the vehicle is a newer model Subaru Outback. The vehicle is black with a vertically aligned roof rack. The black rear bumper has a two-toned silver accent below the trunk.

A witness captured an image of the vehicle. Despite enhancement efforts, the license plate remains unreadable, police said.
