Princeton High School principal is leaving Princeton for Randolph

The board of education for the Randolph school district in Northern New Jersey has hired Princeton High School Principal Jessica Caruso Baxter to serve as the next principal of Randolph High School.
Baxter was selected from 30 candidates after an extensive search, Randolph officials said. The Randolph Board of Education officially approved her appointment Tuesday night.
“Ms. Baxter is a leader that embodies all of the characteristics we collectively decided were important in the next leader of our high school,” Randolph Superintendent Jennifer Fano said. “The work she has led as an administrator in the areas of academic excellence, diversity, equity, and inclusion will complement and enhance the work we have been committed to for the students and staff of Randolph.”
Baxter began her teaching career in East Hanover as a Spanish and English as a second language teacher. She became an assistant principal at Princeton High School in 2012 and was promoted to principal in July of 2019. She will begin her new post in Randolph in January.
