Small Explorers Learning Together – Colors & Feelings

Small Explorers Learning Together is the Museum’s program for children ages 1 – 5 years old and their caregiver(s). The class is offered on the 2nd Saturday or the following Thursday, both at 9:30 am. In this month’s class, children will learn how to use sight to find colors in works of art. They’ll be introduced to how color is connected to emotions and how they can use colors to express themselves in new ways. Children will practice identifying colors and strengthen fine motor skills through activities that use the senses, specifically sight and touch.  We’ll read “I Don’t Draw, I Color!”
