This mulled wine is perfect for a cold night, a festive winter party or a New Year’s Eve celebration. We sampled some at the winery tasting room at Terhune Orchards earlier this month. It reminded us of the mulled wine we drank when we lived in Germany, where mulled wine is very popular in winter, though the Terhune version is fruity in comparison.
At Terhune Orchards, they make their mulled wine the simple way, cooking it in a Crock Pot. They use their own Chambourcin wine, but any red wine will do. We recommend a dry one though.

-2 lemons (halved and juiced, then sliced up. Seed fruit before and after juicing)
