I tried driving home (from Princeton Junction station into Princeton) on Washington Rd during rush hour (~6pm) this week. It was a Monday. It still took at least two redlight cycles to make it across Washington Rd. headed West. That’s because they still let people turn left onto Rte 1 from Washington Rd, which is silly because the limited space backs up and people trying to get across have to go around the backed up cars trying to turn left.
