Get Your Book Fix at Two Princeton Sales That Support Education
The 82nd annual Bryn Mawr-Wellesley Book Sale, one of the biggest charity book sales on the East Coast, run through Friday, March 29.
The sale is at Princeton Day School, 650 the Great Road. Yesterday was preview day. Today the sale is open to the general public with no admission charge. Hours are:
Tuesday, March 26, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Wednesday, March 27, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Thursday, March 28, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. HALF PRICE DAY
Friday, March 29, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. BOX DAY ($10 a box, $5 a paper grocery bag.)
Proceeds from the sale support scholarships for students at Bryn Mawr College and Wellesley College.
Princeton Theological Seminary will hold its annual used book sale Thursday, April 11 through Saturday, April 13 in the Seminary’s Whiteley Gymnasium at 36 Hibben Road. The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, April 11, 9 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., entrance fee of $5
Friday, April 12: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., entrance fee of $5
Saturday, April 13: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., entrance fee of $5
If you have books you would like to donate to the sale, donations will be accepted through Wednesday, April 3. To arrange for drop off or assistance with unloading book donations, contact booksale@ptsem.edu. Books may be dropped off at the Whiteley Gym from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on April 1, March 27, and April 3.
All proceeds from the sale will benefit theological seminaries around the world, many in nations to which Princeton Seminary’s international students will return to teach and minister. The sale is sponsored by the Seminary’s stewardship and missions committee.
