Princeton Police Blotter for Sept. 3
Some time between Aug. 22 and Aug. 28, someone damaged a full-sized soccer goal located at the Community Park South fields just off Witherspoon Street. The damage was reported to police just after 5 p.m. on Aug. 28. The damage is estimated at $2,000, police said.
During a motor vehicle stop just after 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 27, a police officer determined that a Somerset resident had consumed alcoholic beverages prior to operating her vehicle. Jana Cirlincione, 59, was placed under arrest, and later released to a relative. In addition to being charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breathalyzer test, she was charged with reckless driving and failure to keep right.
Police were notified by the courts that a Princeton resident had been in violation of a court order and that he was wanted on a $5,000 warrant. Esteban Cardona-Ruiz, 34, was located at his residence on Red Oak Row just after 9 a.m. on Aug. 27 and he was placed under arrest. He was later released after a relative posted bail.
While police were on John Street near MacLean Street conducting an investigation into a report of harassment just after 1 p.m. on Aug. 26, one of the parties involved in the case was found to have outstanding warrants totaling $390 out of Princeton Municipal Court. Princeton resident Joe Gregory, 31, was placed under arrest and later released on his own recognizance.
