Princeton Road Closures for the Week of Sept. 16

detourOn Monday, Hamilton Avenue at Horner Lane will be closed until 2:30 for utility work.

Harrison Street at Horner Lane will be closed from 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Monday and Tuesday for utility work.

There will be alternating traffic on the first block of  of Dickinson Street until 3:30 p.m. Monday because of utility work.

There will be alternating traffic on the 300 Block of Bunn Drive on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. for utility work.

Valley Road will be closed between State Road and Witherspoon Street on Saturday, Sept. 21, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for September Shred Fest.

Work continues this week on Vandeventer Avenue.  The contractor is slated to return this week to complete the underground sanitary sewer construction on Vandeventer Avenue between Spring Street and Wiggins Street.  Work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Town officials say the contractor estimates that he will finish the sanitary sewer work on Vandeventer Avenue by Friday, Sept. 20, weather permitting. The road will be re-opened to full two-way traffic and parking at the end of each day. Vandeventer Avenue also will be closed at Park Avenue Wednesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for utility work.

New Jersey American Water Company’s replacement of their water main and service lines on Vandeventer Avenue is scheduled to begin on September 23, weather permitting. The water company has indicated that the first work area will be located between Wiggins Street and Spring Street.
