Residents who live near the downtown hospital site have started receiving letters from a contractor for AvalonBay to set up home inspections.

The company, Rancocas-based Protec Documentation Services, is sending letters to residents via certified mail to set up pre-construction inspections of buildings and homes near the AvalonBay project on Witherspoon Street.

“The purpose of the inspection is to provide property owners maximum protection by establishing existing conditions before construction begins,” reads the letter. “The survey will consist of audio notes and digital photographs of the interior and exterior conditions.”
