Intensive physical activity is part of the work. Temperatures in the warehouse can range from 60 degrees to 90 or above. The fulfillment positions can be applied for on the Mercer County website. Amazon.com will begin conducting interviews in the coming weeks.
The 1.2 million-square-foot warehouse is expected to employ 1,400 people full-time. The warehouse, which is under construction, is located at the Matrix Business Park at Exit 7A of the New Jersey Turnpike.
Mercer County officials are working with the Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association to provide public transportation to the park from several major bus routes, County Executive Brian Hughes said.
