Mercer and Quaker Road Repairs to Begin in May
On or about May 5th, the repair and resurfacing of Mercer Road and Quaker Road will begin, police said today.
The first part of the project will involve the milling, repair and repaving of the Mercer Road surface between Province Line Road and Quaker Road. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and is expected to take approximately 10-14 days.
The second phase of the project will include the milling, repair and resurfacing of Quaker Road between Mercer Road and the Port Mercer area. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The second phase of the project is expected to take approximately three to four weeks. Police anticipate that roadways will be open to traffic during non-scheduled work hours.
Route 206 will be the designated detour for the duration of the project, and signage will be posted, police said.

I wish they bothered to resurface Quaker Rd back when they already had it closed to replace the bridge. Two birds, right?
