Flash Flood Watch in Effect Until Tuesday Night for Central New Jersey
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Mercer, Somerset, Hunterdon and Middlesex counties. Heavy rainfall and flash flooding are possible this afternoon into Tuesday night.
A cold front is expected to approach from the northwest today and Tuesday, bringing showers, thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.
The watch is in effect from noon today until Tuesday night.
