Princeton Police Blotter: Thefts on Gallup, Autumn Hill Roads
Some time between Friday afternoon, Aug. 8 and Saturday night, Aug. 9, a Gallup Road home was burglarized. Someone forcibly entered the residence by breaking a window pane and took some jewelry. The value of the stolen items has not been determined yet, police said.
A resident of Autumn Hill Road reported that some time between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Aug. 9, someone stole her Apple iPhone 5C, valued at $500, from her driveway after she inadvertently drove away and left it behind.
A Princeton resident was pulled over by police on Hamilton Avenue near Linden Lane on Aug. 8 just after 2:30 a.m., and police determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol. Amilcar Lopez-Ortiz, 29, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was processed at police headquarters and later released with summonses for DWI and motor vehicle violations.
