Princeton Police Department to Host Coffee with a Cop Event This Saturday
The Princeton Police Department will host its first eve Coffee with a Cop gathering on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Panera Bread located at 136 Nassau Street in downtown Princeton.
The event was created to allow members of the community to interact with uniformed officers in an informal setting. The goal is to enhance the relationship between the police department and community members and allow people to get to know the officers on patrol who work to keep their neighborhoods safe. Participants will be provided with a free cup of coffee and are encouraged to ask questions and interact with officers.
The Coffee with a Cop program is a national initiative supported by the U.S. Department of Justice. The aim of events, held nationwide, is to allow police to connect with the communities they serve.
