Princeton Woman Rescued from Car, Hospitalized After Crash
A Princeton resident was hospitalized following a two-car accident on Cleveland Lane at Elm Road late Friday morning, police said.
Roxanne Waldner, 46, was transported to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro for upper body pain after she was rescued from her car.
Waldner became trapped in her Hyundai Elantra after she was stuck by Marilyn Stebbins, 80, of Princeton.
Stebbins was driving a 2006 Cadillac STS heading west on Cleveland Lane, and she hit the Hyundai’s driver’s door with her left front bumper as she was turning left onto Elm Road.
The Hyundai was traveling straight through the intersection at the time and had the right of way. The Hyundai sustained extensive damage to the front driver’s side door. Stebbins was uninjured and her Cadillac sustained minor damage to its front end.
Stebbins was issued a summons for failing to yield the right of way at an intersection.
