Person Rescued at Princeton University Dorm, Taken to Hospital

Emergency workers performed CPR on someone who had attempted to hang themselves on the roof of a dorm at Princeton University Friday afternoon.

The incident response and “CPR in progress” could be heard on police scanners.

School officials would only confirm that at about 3:15 p.m. Friday, Princeton University Department of Public Safety officers and the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad responded to a medical emergency at the Scully Hall dormitory. A person was taken by ambulance to a hospital and was being treated at the hospital Friday evening.
