Princeton Day School welcomed 12 students from Beijing High School No. 4 yesterday. The students will spend two weeks on
campus and live with families from the community.
Throughout their two-week stay, visiting students will attend classes, interact with students in the Middle and Lower Schools, and engage with Upper School students in discussions about global issues.
On weekends, program leaders will organize visits to historical sites in Princeton, as well as Philadelphia and New York City.
The exchange program grew out of a Kaye Family Fund travel grant awarded to PDS Global Studies Coordinator and U.S. History teacher Maria Shepard.

The school plans to hold the exchange program every two years. Organizers hope the program will foster authentic interactions and meaningful exchanges between students from different parts of the world.
