Potentially Dangerous Patient Last Seen in Princeton (Updated)

Update at about 10:45 p.m. Friday: Sources say the escapee took a taxi to Trenton and was captured in Bordentown. We are still waiting for more details. This has not officially been confirmed by police.

Update from Princeton Police at about 9:50 p.m. Friday: “The investigation by the Princeton Police Dept has determined that the missing medical patient reported earlier is no longer in the area.”

A medical patient has escaped and was last seen at the intersection of Mercer Street and Quaker Road Friday night, police said. He escaped from his medical transport ambulance around 7 p.m., police said.

The man could be violent, police said. He is described as a white male, 6’2″, 220 pounds, and is wearing blue scrubs. He is about 25.

If you see him call 911. Police are searching for him. Residents near the border of Princeton and Lawrence have reported a large law enforcement presence in the area.

  1. Why aren’t the authorities giving more information? His name, a photo, is he a criminal, felon, was he in a regular hospital (why) or a psychiatric institution?
