Update: Missing Princeton Senior Located
Update: The Princeton Police sent out an alert just after 9 p.m. Friday night saying that the person has returned to his home. Thanks to all the readers who shared the initial alert.
The Princeton Police Department is searching for an 85-year-old man who has been missing since Friday afternoon. His name is Charles Akselrad. He was last seen in Trenton.
At approximately 2:40 p.m., Akselrad left his home via a taxi and was dropped off at the Motor Vehicle Commission in Trenton. The driver from Princeton Taxi asked Akselrad if he needed the cab to stay, and he indicated that he did not and would take a bus back to Princeton.
Akselrad suffers from various health issues and does not have his medication or a cell phone, police said. The Trenton Police checked the area and local hospitals were contacted to no avail, police said. Akselrad was last seen wearing a blue/gray short sleeved shirt, blue/gray capri style pants or long shorts, and gray/black slip-on shoes.
Akselrad is a white male with a fair complexion. He is 5’9″, weighs about 180 pounds, and has brown eyes and short gray hair. Akselrad also has a pacemaker located under the skin near his right pectoral area.If you see him, please call the Princeton Police Department at (609) 921-2100, ext. 0.
