Colin Simonelli, the 24-year old who was found unresponsive in the Community Park Pool in Princeton on Saturday afternoon, has died.

It is still not clear what happened, but the incident, which took place in the shallow end of the pool, appears to be health related. One man spotted Simonelli in the shallow end of the pool around 2 p.m. Saturday, called for another man to help, and they pulled him out of the pool, according to people at the pool. Lifeguards then administered CPR for about 15 minutes. Princeton Police and First Aid personnel were dispatched to the pool. The man was transported to the University Medical Center of Princeton Medical at Plainsboro.

We will update this story when more information is available.
