Weidel Real Estate celebrated its 13th annual corn harvest this past week as volunteers picked sweet corn on the Weidel Family Farm and delivered it to food banks, shelters and businesses in Central New Jersey and Bucks County, Pa.

Weidel sales associates delivered corn to several local organizations and charities, including Farmers Against Hunger, Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, and HomeFront. Corn was also distributed to area fire departments, police squads, churches, and individuals.

“Providing fresh corn to people throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania is just one way we can help to make a difference in the areas we proudly serve,” said Richard Weidel III, executive vice president of Weidel Real Estate.

“Harvesting the corn each year has become a true labor of love for our towns,” he said. “Seeing it enjoyed by community members of all ages is why we do this and will continue to do so in the years to come.”
