Gas Leak Closes Portion of Washington Road Wednesday Morning
Washington Road was closed between Ivy Lane and Prospect Avenue for a short time Wednesday morning after a natural gas leak was reported near the Frist Campus Center at Princeton University.
Washington Road was closed for about an hour starting at 8:45 a.m. PSE&G continued to work in the area to cap the leak.
The Princeton Fire Department, Princeton Police Department and Princeton University Public Safety responded. No buildings were evacuated, and no service was interrupted at any campus buildings, school officials said.

A gas leak. A water main break. A ski-mask, wearing bandit on campus. A Princeton institution to be branded the “University of Pennsylvania.” Portions of the Princeton Battlefield to be developed with IAS faculty housing. (Can a Starbucks be far behind?)
Surely some revelation is at hand. . .
[W]hat rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born.
