A sophomore at Princeton University was found dead in his dorm room at Forbes College today, Dec. 18.
The cause of death has yet to be determined but foul play is not suspected, school officials said.
Wonshik Shin, 19, was from South Korea and was majoring in neuroscience. He was a member and events coordinator of the Korean American Student Association, a singer in the V Tones East Asian music group, and was a vocalist with the Princeton University Rock Ensemble. Princeton University has extended condolences to Shin’s family. School officials have also encouraged students who would like to speak with counselors to visit counseling and psychological services at McCosh Health Center or call (609) 258-3285 to reach a counselor.
