A woman reported that on April 12 at about 7 p.m., she was inappropriately touched by a man near the intersection of Spruce Spruce Street and Moore Street. After groping the victim from behind, the suspect fled from the scene on Spruce Street. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male. He was about 5’8″ tall with brown hair, brown eyes and a stocky build, according to the victim. On April 11, a woman reported that her white iPhone 5 and maroon Otterbox case were stolen around 4:30 p.m. while she was shopping at Landau on Nassau Street. The total estimated value of the stolen items was $250, police said.
Just after 7 p.m. on April 12, police investigated a complaint about criminal mischief at Hilltop Park. A girl’s purple bicycle was located in center field. The rear tire of the bike had been set on fire and had burned a circular shape into the grass.
A resident on the 500 block of Cherry Valley Road reported an unauthorized charge on his credit card in the amount of $23.91 on April 13.
A 43-year-old Princeton resident who lives on the 1000 block of Princeton Kingston Road was arrested on the afternoon of April 13 after police made a random registration inquiry that revealed two active warrants out of the South Brunswick Municipal Court totaling $390. He was processed at the Princeton Police headquarters and released after posting bail.
Just after midnight on April 13, a Kendall Park resident was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated. The woman, Shamina Valentine, 46, was involved in a crash on the 200 block of South Harrison Street and was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date. She was released to a sober adult.
A vehicle was stopped on the evening of April 8 on Witherspoon Street because a headlight was out. The driver, a Princeton woman, was arrested after police discovered that she had an outstanding warrant from the Trenton Municipal Court for $1,500. The driver, Talithak Oluwafemi, 40, was also found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. Oluwafemi was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and released.
At about 1 a.m. on April 8, police stopped a vehicle for an improper turn at Nassau Street and Bayard Lane. Matthew Berbon-Owle, 24, of Hamilton and Victoria Poprik, 23, of Croydon, Pa. were arrested for allegedly possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both were transported to police headquarters, where they were processed and released.
On the afternoon of April 9 on the 300 block of North Harrison Street, a random licence plate inquiry revealed an active warrant for Trenton resident Xiaomei Qi out of Trenton Municipal Court in the amount of $2,500. Qi, 39, was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released after posting bail.
Police stopped a car just after 10 a.m. on April 9 on South Harrison Street for having an expired inspection sticker. The driver, a 38-year-old Princeton resident, was arrested on a warrant out of the Princeton Municipal Court in the amount of $226. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released.
After a motor vehicle stop for tinted windows, a Hamilton resident was arrested

Police stopped a motor vehicle for an improper right turn and failure to
maintain a lane at the intersection of Route 206 and Hutchinson Drive at about 2 a.m. on April 9. The driver, Somerset resident Kevin Castro, 22, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Castro was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued motor vehicle summonses, given a pending court date and released to a sober adult.
After a motor vehicle stop for speeding at the intersection of Route 206 and Hutchinson Drive at about 1 a.m. on April 9, an Egg Harbor Township resident was arrested for possession of a controlled and dangerous substance under 50 grams, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pierce Thompson, 19, was transported to police headquarters where he was processed, issued motor vehicle summonses and given a pending court date prior to being released.
A random license plate inquiry by police on Bayard Lane just after midnight on April 11 revealed that a driver had an active warrant from the Plainsboro Municipal Court for $86. The Princeton resident was stopped on Greenholm Street and arrested. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released after posting bail.
