Donors needed for 8th annual Princeton book bag and school supplies drive

The Princeton Human Services Department is seeking donors for its annual book bag and school supplies drive. The drive benefits Princeton children from lower income families.

For the past eight years, the Princeton Human Services Commission, municipal employees, local businesses, organizations and residents have donated book bags and school supplies that are provided to about 100 children each year. The items are distributed to children who attend the Princeton Public Schools and are entering kindergarten through sixth grade.

If you would like to participate in this year’s drive, drop off donations at the Princeton Human Services office weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.n. The office is located at the former borough hall at One Monument Drive. The deadline for donations is Friday, Aug. 4.
