Princeton Police release sketch of man who groped teen

The Princeton Police Department released a sketch today of the suspect in the groping of a minor that took place on the 100 block of Mercer Street at about 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10.

A 13-year-old girl was walking along Mercer Street when the suspect ran up behind her, grabbed her buttocks, and then knocked her to the ground and ran off. The incident is similar to some other groping incidents in Princeton over the last few years.

The suspect is described as 30 to 40 year old  male who is possibly Hispanic. He has a medium complexion, is about  5’5”, has short black or dark brown hair, a medium to stocky build, and weighs about 200 pounds.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the man should call Det. Arana at (609) 921-2100, ext. 1834 or email harana@princetonnj.gov.
