Two crashes cause major delays in Princeton area
Two crashes on state roads caused traffic jams and major delays in the Princeton area Saturday afternoon.
Just after 2 p.m. there was an accident at Route 1 southbound and Henderson Road. The left lane was blocked for about an hour and traffic was backed up for several miles. Police said minor injuries were reported.
Rte. 206 north was closed between Orchard Road and Bridgepoint Road due to a crash that happened just before 2:30 p.m. A truck crashed into a utility pole. No one was injured.Traffic was almost at a standstill from the Montgomery Shopping Center to Bridgepoint Road, readers reported. Southbound drivers experienced minor delays.
