The annual juried Ellarslie Open art exhibition has been postponed until the fall because of the coronavirus outbreak. In the meantime, the museum is hosting an online exhibition called Not Quite Open: The Art of Sheltering in Place.

Artists can post work to social media channels that is created between March 30 and April 30 and message Ellarslie or tag the organization on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter through April 30 with and of the following tags: #Trentoncitymuseum #Ellarslie #Ellarslienotquiteopen #artofshelteringinplace.

Make sure to provide details like the materials and media used, the name of the work, and the date it was completed. Artist statements or reflections are welcome. Feel free to include a photo of yourself in your workspace.
