Major crash on Route 1 south near the Mercer Mall
Readers have reported that there is a major traffic jam on Route 1 south near the Mercer Mall area. Route 1 south is closed and traffic is being detoured off of Route 1, readers report. Lawrence Police have also issued an alert saying drivers should avoid Route 1 south due to a multi-vehicle crash. Readers recommend that everyone avoids the area. Expect major delays if you must travel.
