Missing Princeton senior’s body found in Community Park North

Police in Princeton on Thursday discovered the body of a 67-year-old resident who had gone missing.

After a search that involved helicopters and multiple agencies, the body of Jeffrey Bossart was discovered at Community Park North. Bossart, who had been distressed, left his house in the Bayard Lane area on foot at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday night and never returned. He said he was going out to take a walk.

There was no foul play involved in his death. An autopsy is still pending.

Though information was sent to the press when he went missing, police reported the discovery of the body on social media but did not send out a release or other information to the press.

  1. Pretty discouraging length of time to elapse when you consider what a hub (dog walkers, Emergency Services, Municipal building, swimming pool) Community Park North is.
