The number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 at the Carrier Clinic in Montgomery has risen from 53 confirmed COVID-19 cases two weeks ago to 89 cases as of Monday.
Montgomery Health Officer Stephanie Carey said in an update about new COVID-19 cases in the township that the outbreak is split between two units at the behavioral health facility.
“In response, state inspectors are working with the clinic,” Carey wrote. “Hackensack Meridian, owner of the clinic, has sent additional infection control specialists.”
The outbreak at the Carrier Clinic was first reported on Nov.14.
