Princeton Health Department staff member tests positive for COVID-19
A staff member in the Princeton Health Department has tested positive for COVID-19 and is in quarantine, according to an email sent to municipal employees Monday by administrator Marc Dashield.
“The staff member has been isolated and we wish them a speedy recovery,” reads the email from Dashield. “COVID-19 activity levels in NJ have reached ‘high’ late last week including COVID transmission in our communities…Staff need to remain extra vigilant with physical distancing, mask-wearing, and remaining home if asymptomatic.”
Dashield said that after reviewing close contacts with health department staff members, an additional health department staff member is also being quarantined. “No other known close contacts have been identified at this time,” Dashield wrote.
