Storm causes dangerous driving conditions in Princeton area, floods roads (updated at 11:20 p.m.)

Drivers struggled to navigate area roads just before 6 p.m. on Monday as the storm became heavy in the Princeton region.

Large pools of water covered portions of area roads, including Alexender Street near Faculty Road. Some drivers pulled over because of visibility issues. Others struggled to navigate their vehicles around fallen tree branches. Our advice: Stay home if you can. Don’t drive.

One Comment

  1. Princeton, clean the storm drain covers and this should definitely help with the flooding/draining problems.
They are constantly clogged up with LEAVES and DEBRIS and this does not allow the water to drain properly in the sewers. This can also be very dangerous to anyone walking in the flooded area.

Get the MUNICIPAL DEPARTMENT to go out and clean the sewer covers after every rain and this should help.

    Easy fix.
