Princeton Farmers Market season kicks off this week

Princeton farm market summer market on Franklin Avenue.

The Princeton Farmers Market will return to the Franklin Avenue lot this Thursday, May 13. The location for the market was moved last year due to the pandemic and the need for social distancing.

The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursdays through Nov. 18. The market features local produce, meats, baked goods, and more.

More than two dozen vendors will participate in the summer market this year, including: Terhune Orchards, Chickadee Creek Farm, Cherry Grove Farm, Cherry Grove Organic Farm, Picklelicious, Small World Coffee, Whimsy Design, Pies and Quiches, Queen Mab’s Herbs, Nutty Novelties, the Mill Creek Apiary, LoRe Pasta, the Lost Bread Co., Longview Flowers, Lima Family Farms, Lexi’s Kitchen, Honey Rose Botanical, the Granola Bar, Gourmet Nuts & Dried Fruit, Fruitwood Farms, Demi Olive Oil, Davidson’s Exotic Mushrooms, Bone-in Food, the Barking Good Bakery, and Catalina Empanadas.

Masks are still required for all vendors and shoppers at the market, and social distancing also is still required when customers are waiting in lines.The market is authorized to accept SNAP/EBT cards and matches up to $10 on SNAP transactions, per eligible customer, per day. Those eligible for SNAP benefits can learn more at the Farmers Market table.
