The Hopewell Valley Arts Council has named four 2021 Hopewell Valley Central High School graduates as recipients of the organization’s annual scholarships.

Seraphina Gillman, Olivia Levin, Nicole Bartnikowski, and David LaRaus have each received a $500 scholarship.

The scholarship program for students who want to further their education in any aspect of the arts is in its seventh year. “These scholarships are a critical part of our mission in encouraging creativity in the Hopewell Valley community and fostering a lifelong participation in the arts,” said Hopewell Valley Arts Council board president Carol Lipson.

Gillman, who wants to be a professional artist, is an incoming freshman at the Maine College of Art. LaRaus, who will be attending Mercer County Community College in the fall, loves acting. Levin will pursue a dual major in musical theater and environmental science at a four-year college. Bartnikowski will pursue a double major in photography and journalism at The New School in New York City.
