Man taken to hospital after being struck by Dinky train near Princeton Junction station Tuesday night
A man was taken to the hospital after he was struck by the Dinky train shuttle in Princeton Junction near the train station on Tuesday night.
The man was struck by the Princeton Dinky shuttle train No. 4177 just before 10 p.m. The train was headed west to the station in Princeton when the incident occurred. The man was in a wooded area near Station Drive when he was struck. He tried to flee, but was found nearby, was treated by emergency responders, and was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for non-life-threatening injuries.
No passengers were on the Dinky train at the time of the incident. Dinky train service was temporarily suspended due to the incident.
