One more reason to stay home: Some Princeton area roads experiencing severe icing due to the storm
Police in several Princeton area municipalities report that some roads are experiencing severe icing due to the snow today.
Cherry Valley Road is closed between the Great Road (CR 601) and Provinceline Road until further notice due to severe icing.
In the early afternoon, Cherry Valley Road was closed between Heather Lane and Provinceline Road due to a motor vehicle crash. Police have reported that there have been numerous accidents and disabled vehicles in the Cherry Valley Road area due to the ice on the roads.
Stay home if you can. Conditions are expected to get worse in the evening. Many neighborhoods still have roads with ice on them that is underneath the snow, which makes driving conditions hazardous.
The National Weather Service’s winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. Friday. An additional one to two inches of snow is possible tonight.

I donβt understand when the governor says state of emergency Princeton University Hass to be their own role and stay open. This is a hazard and they should abide by what the governor has to say. They are not their own entity when there is severe weather.
