Puppy found outdoors in West Windsor over the weekend
Police in West Windsor were seeking the owner of a Yorkie Poo puppy over the weekend. The puppy was found in the area of Bear Brook Road and Windsor Drive.
West Windsor Police Chief Bob Garofalo gave an update about the puppy on Monday. The adorable pooch was taken to the Princeton Animal Hospital in West Windsor for a checkup and then was taken to the SAVE animal shelter in Montgomery.
“The pup was found to be medically in good health and is now enjoying a wonderful foster home,” Garofalo said. “Sadly, no one has come forward yet. Thank you to everyone who has offered a nice warm home for this snow angel.”
If the puppy becomes available for adoption, SAVE will post the availability on the organization’s website.
Garofalo said suggested names for the puppy that have been submitted by residents include Ice Cube, Snow Angel, Frost Bite, and Hot Chocolate.

Has the sweet pup been microchipped? Which would lead directly to the owner? Kills me that this sweet dog has been out in the freezing cold. Please update. Thanks 🙏
