Editor’s note: Thanks for adding your events to our Princeton area community calendar

At the start of the new year, we asked community organizations to add their events to our calendar. Many of you stepped up and are now submitting your events. The calendar now features more than 900 events that are happening over the next few months.

Thank you for helping us keep the local community informed about opportunities to participate in activities, become more informed, relax, and connect with others. After the isolation of the pandemic, we believe people are yearning for ways to engage with others and be a part of the local community.

We select six events added by users to feature on our homepage. Improve your chance of having your event featured by including a JPEG image with your event submission.

Planet Princeton does not list the following events: Events happening in other countries, national events, and events happening in other states. The exception is events in New York City, Philadelphia, and Bucks County that are connected to Princeton area residents, for example, a play or a dance by a Princeton resident that is being performed in New York. We also don’t allow posts for summer camps, ongoing yoga classes, fitness training, or professional continuing education seminars. We approve all events before they are posted. Any events that do not meet our criteria will be deleted (sorry!).

It can take up to 48 hours for your event to be approved after you submit it, so please add your events as early as possible.

It only takes a few minutes to add your event and upload a JPEG image. Give it a try at https://planetprinceton.com/events/community/add. You can also find the “add an event” page and our calendar via our navigation menu.

With gratitude – Krystal
