More than 4,600 households and businesses in the greater Princeton region without power Wednesday night due to storm
As of 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, more than 4,600 businesses and households in the greater Mercer County area were without power due to the storm that has brought wind gusts of more than 40 miles per hour to the region.
Pennington was hit hardest by the high winds on Wednesday night, with more than 1,340 PSE&G customers losing power. In Hopewell, about 600 PSE&G and 170 JCP&L customers were without power, and in Ewing about 550 PSE&G customers were without power. In Plainsboro, more than 1,700 PSE&G customers were without power. About 90 Princeton households were without power.
In Hunterdon County, more than 5,000 JCP&L customers were without power.

JCP&L customers without power should report their outage by calling 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) or by texting “OUT” to 544487.
