NJ Transit ‘spring’ customer satisfaction survey is open
You can share your thoughts about NJ Transit train, bus, and light rail service by completing the agency’s spring survey online.
Commuters will probably have lots of feedback for the agency this time around. Significant delays in recent weeks have angered and frustrated commuters. Last week commuters experienced major delays three times in two days. Thousands of commuters had to stay in New York or take rideshares home one night when trains were delayed several hours. Gov. Phil Murphy has blamed the system failures on Amtrak, calling Amtrak’s power failure an unmitigated disaster.
On Friday evening, NJ Transit trains were delayed again due to a signal issue in New York.
The delays come less than two months before double-digit fare hikes are slated to go into effect. Starting in July of 2025, NJ Transit will also increase fares by 3% annually.
