Princeton Chef Scott Anderson has been named a James Beard Foundation 2015 semifinalist for outstanding chef.
Anderson of Elements and Mistral was also a semifinalist last year. He is among 20 semifinalists who were chosen from thousands of applications.
Judges in the 25th annual contest will cast their votes next month, and the five semifinalists with the highest number of votes in each category will become the nominees, or finalists. The finalists for the prestigious honor will be announced at the James Beard House in New York City on Tuesday, March 24.
The 2015 James Beard Awards gala will be held at the Lyric Opera of Chicago on Monday, May 4.
