Sandra Toussaint has been named the new president and CEO of
United Way of Greater Mercer County. She has been serving as interim president and CEO since October.

“I welcome the opportunity to partner with local organizations to
improve the quality of life for all in our community,” she said. “We at United Way of Greater Mercer County will strive to be a transparent organization through open dialogue with the community.”

Before joining the United Way of Greater Mercer County as vice president of resource development in 2014, Toussaint served as the director of development for  a New York non-profit called Youth Communication where she developed fundraising strategies and recruited and trained new board members.

“On behalf of the board of directors, we are delighted to bring Ms.
Toussaint’s leadership to our United Way,” said said United Way
Board President Scott Nelson. “Sandra’s vision is exactly what we were seeking in order to move the United Way of Greater Mercer County forward while continuing to help improve our community.”

Toussaint replaces Herbert Klein III, who stepped down after six years on the job.
