About four inches of snow expected to fall in the Princeton area on Saturday
Snow is expected to fall in the Mercer County region starting at about 3 a.m. on Saturday, and continuing for most of the day, according to the National Weather Service in Mt. Holly.
The area is expected to see about four inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. No need to rush to the grocery store for bread and milk. The intensity of the snowfall will be light to moderate, and the storm could shift and miss us altogether.
Wet surfaces could refreeze on Saturday night, causing hazardous driving conditions. Scattered snow showers are also possible on Sunday.
Police are cautioning drivers to reduce speeds and allow for extra stopping distance. Expect hazardous driving conditions for much of the day Saturday and be alert for black ice and snow covered ice Saturday evening and Sunday.
