A tree fell across Rosedale Road at Preservation Place near Johnson Park Elementary School Tuesday afternoon, a reader reported. The tree brought down wires also. Police are reporting that a tree is also blocking Autumn Hill Road. Seek an alternate route. We will update this post once the trees have been removed.

  1. Get used to this sight. This looks like a dead ash tree – one of hundreds that will either be cut down or fall over the next few years due to the emerald ash border.

  2. Who is responsible to removing all the other trees which are leaning precariously over the walkway and Rosedale Road? Is that Mercer County DOT’s responsibility? Or the landowner?
