State awards Lawrence $370,000 for bikeway project

The New Jersey Department of Transportation announced three bikeway grants today totaling $1 million to help municipalities advance bikeway projects.

Lawrence will receive $370,000, Somers Point in Atlantic County will receive $130,000, and Garfield in Bergen County will receive $500,000. The funding will help the municipalities create more bike paths in their communities.
