Free fruit, vegetable, and dairy distribution in Trenton Friday
Rolling Harvest Food Rescue, a non-profit organization that partners with local farmers to feed people in need, will distribute boxes of produce and dairy items from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 12 at parking lot two across from the Cure Insurance Arena at 81 Hamilton Avenue in Trenton.
The free farm market is open to anyone who is struggling to meet basic food needs. No registration or identification is needed. Food will be distributed while supplies last.
Volunteers will be outfitted with gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer and will practice social distancing. They can load food into trunks, or people can walk up to pick up a box.
Rolling Harvest still needs a few volunteers to help out on Friday. You can sign up online.
